Young Urban Leaders to Hold Town Hall on Education and Job Training Prospects in America as Part of the Opportunity Nation 2011 Summit

Leaders to Bring Youth Voice, Ideas from Town Hall to the Opportunity Nation Summit

New York, N.Y. – More than 150 young adult leaders, aged 16 to 24, will participate in the Opportunity Nation Young Leaders Town Hall on November 3 to discuss education and job training opportunities and their role in promoting economic mobility in America. The high-energy and vibrant event will be led by youth leaders who have surmounted tremendous personal obstacles to become graduates of YouthBuild and Year Up. The young people will present a summary of their Town Hall discussion to the Opportunity Nation 2011 Summitthe following day and share their concerns and ideas with participating government officials, policymakers, business leaders, organizations and media.
